Who am I?

Hello! My name is Phimmanda Satheinthirakul, but most people call me Mint. I was born on August 2, 2001, and I recently graduated from Brock University in Ontario, Canada, with a degree in Business Communication. At 23 years old, I bring a fresh perspective, a strong work ethic, and a passion for making an impact in the industry.

Originally from Thailand, I moved to Canada in 2018 to attend boarding school, and I instantly fell in love with the country. Over the past six years, I have embraced the diverse culture and opportunities that Canada has to offer, shaping my personal and professional growth.

In 2020, during my first year of university, I adapted to challenges posed by COVID-19 by taking online classes. This experience taught me resilience and adaptability as I navigate my education in a new format. Studying abroad has also provided invaluable lessons, not only in my career but also interpersonal skills. Living far away from my family pushed me to develop independence and perseverance. This journey required a great deal of dedication, and I am proud of the progress I have made.

My time in Canada

This photo represents my incredible journey during my six years in Canada. Moving here since high school opened up a world of opportunities, allowing me to immerse myself in a new culture, make lifelong friends, and grow both personally and academically.

My Hobbies and Interests

Beyond my passion for marketing and PR, I love immersing  myself in experiences that inspire creativity and excitement. I enjoy watching plays in the theater, as storytelling and stage performance captive me. Traveling is another passion of mine-- I love exploring new cultures, discovering hidden gems, and gaining fresh perspectives.

I also have a deep appreciation for design and architecture. I enjoy reading and watching Architectural Digest on Youtube and its website, as I find it fascinating to see how people design and personalize their homes. During university, I studied nonverbal communication, which made me realize how spaces and aesthetics can communicate identity, values, and emotions without words. The way interiors reflect personalities and lifestyles is something I love exploring, much like how branding and marketing shape perceptions.

My favorite artist

Another major inspiration in my life is Hayao Miyazaki. Widely regarded as one of the greatest animators and storytellers of all time, Miyazaki is celebrated for his breathtaking animation, rich world-building, and deeply emotional narratives. His films often explore themes of nature, resilience, and self-discovery, resonating with audience across generations. I admire his creativity, the way his animation reflects his identity, and his ability to craft timeless stories. I also appreciate his commitment to portraying female characters with strength, depth, and individuality. His work continues to inspire me to bring authenticity and purpose to everything I create

My Values & What Drives Me

One of my biggest motivations is to keep pushing myself beyond my own expectations. I used to underestimate my abilities, but over time, I've learned that there's nothing I cannot achieve if I keep trying and pushing forward. Success isn't always immediate-- it often comes after setbacks and challenges. But I believe that trusting the process, staying resilient, and continuously learning are what truly lead to growth.

Another core value I live by is trust and honesty. I believe that being able to trust and rely on others is what makes any work, collaboration, or project move forward successfully, I always strive to create an environment where openness and integrity thrive

Words I live by

"Be curious about the world around you, seek out new experiences, and challenge your assumptions. Take risks, try new things, and embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process. The power of curiosity lies in its ability to open doors and create opportunities.”
